Last year we hoisted buried treasure in Pirate's Cove....this years theme will send us back in time on a "Pre-Historic Quest". Camp Carpenter summer camp is one of the premier scouting events of the year and we hope that your son will be able to participate in this memorable, life-shaping program. Pack 123 will be attending summer camp from July 29-August 2 but for best pricing we need to respond by March 15th. Scout parents are also invited to attend camp as mentors and chaperones. Due to less than ideal conditions, the family sledding party originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan 15 is postponed to Sunday, Jan 29. If we still do not have any snow on Jan 29th a family hike is planned with details to follow. Tough to imagine a family hike in January but that's the type of winter we are having this year...for better or worse.
Hi everyone, just a reminder that New Boston’s Pack 123 food drive is approaching. "Scouting for Food" is a program that allows our pack to directly engage our community and help those in need. It is the most important service project our Pack participates in and hopefully each scout gains a great sense of community service through participation. Scouting for Food will take place the weekend of 11/5(hangar distribution) and the morning of 11/12(food pickup). Packages with door hangars and route information will be distributed next week.

We have officially kicked off our 2011marshmallow fundraising event. Each scout should have received their marshmallow order form from their den leader but the forms can be downloaded here as well. This year Jason Perry will be organizing our marshmallow fundraising event.
